Data Education for the Future Engineer

On January 12, 2024, Daphne Miedema will defend her dissertation "On Learning SQL: Disentangling concepts in Data Systems Education" on the campus of Eindhoven University of Technology. We have gathered a wonderful, inter-disciplinary committee for her dissertation, who will all come to Eindhoven in person for the defense. As such, we wanted to take this opportunity to discuss our thoughts on Data Education together.

So, from 9:00AM to 12:30PM on Jan 12, we will hold a seminar titled "Data Education for the Future Engineer", in which all five committee members will share considerations from their research fields on the topic of Data Education. For more information on the talks, go to the Program page.
